Today we began our semester on prayer. Prayer is a great gift from God, and today we have only begun ripping off the wrapping paper. God desires all of His children to pray to Him, not because He needs us to, but because He knows we need to. He deeply desires for each of us to pray to Him, so that we can all have a personal and living relationship with God. The youth today were able to hear this message of great love and take some time to open their hearts to God and speak to Him. Consider the following questions for discussion this week:
· What does it mean for you to have a personal and living relationship with Jesus?
· How do you hope to pray more throughout your week?
· Do you think it is important for us as a family to pray together? In what ways can we pray together as a family?
Your Summary & Challenge for “Well Of Life”
· Prayer is a gift from God, where we are able to encounter God’s thirst for us.
· True prayer comes from our hearts, and only God is capable of knowing the depths of our hearts.
· Prayer is not merely words and gestures, but the way to develop a personal and living relationship with our heavenly Father.
