The session this week helps the youth understand the teachings of salvation and grace. Grace is a free, undeserved gift of God’s love to us. Salvation and grace are not something we can earn. We receive salvation through the passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is in Baptism that we take part in this saving mystery of our faith.
Here are some questions to help start a conversation.
· What did you learn about salvation and grace this week?
· What does it mean that God gave you a free gift?
· How have you seen God’s grace in your life?
· What is one thing we can do to offer our family life back to God in thanksgiving for saving us and giving us grace?
· Grace is the free and undeserved gift we are given of God’s favor and life.
· God has given us His grace so that we may get into heaven.
· Salvation is God’s forgiveness of our sins, and the healing of our relationship with God so we can get to heaven.
· Spend time this week thanking God for His love and mercy.
In Him,
