Register Today for EDGE and EPIC: Parents, you’re now able to pre-register your child(ren) for EDGE or EPIC by going to www.smsjsacym.weebly.com. EDGE by LifeTeen is the name of the comprehensive ministry for all students in grades 5-8 and 9-12. EDGE sessions are based off of the youth ministry model to engage young people where they’re at, help them to go deeper in their Catholic faith, and encourage them to become disciples of Jesus Christ. EPIC is the comprehensive catechesis ministry for children in grades K-4. During EPIC sessions the children use “Gospel Weeklies”, a lectionary based resource that introduces young people to the readings for Sunday, especially Jesus in the Gospel. They’re fun and interactive sessions to help children stay engaged and remember what they’ve learned. For legal and liability reasons, every student must be registered beforehand in order to participate in sessions. Please take the time to pre-register in the coming weeks! Questions about EDGE or EPIC, contact Nathan Eten at [email protected].
