The book is an awesome read and I highly recommend it to youth, especially those who play and love sports.
Connecting Sports and Faith: Elementary and high school athletic directors, coaches, boosters, league leaders, officials, and sports fans are invited on Tuesday, February 11th, 7:00PM at McAuley High School Auditorium, to listen to author, Bishop Thomas Paprocki. Hockey-playing Catholic bishop, Thomas Paprocki, says athletics and fitness provide daily ways to connect with God. His book, Holy Goals for Body and Soul, links lessons from the world of sports and fitness—especially the experiences of a Catholic bishop who plays ice hockey and runs marathons—with concrete ways to live a holy life. The event is free and open to the public. It will also stream live at stjamesproject.org.
