What is Happiness?: This EDGE semester has been all about Sacrament. We’ve discussed how we receive grace through the Sacraments, Jesus instituting the Sacraments, Sacraments of Initiation, Service, and Healing, what happens at Mass, and confronted our doubts and questions about the Sacraments. Next week it is time to put it all together to see how all of these can help us live a life of true happiness, a perfect topic for Advent.
Celebrating the Season of Hope: Next week at EPIC the focus will be on the readings for the 3rd week of Advent. Families, remember to light the 3rd candle on the Advent wreath you child received and follow along with your calendar as we go through Advent.
Christmas Shenanigans: At EDGE we love Christmas and the reason for it, Jesus’ birth, so much so that on December 21st, we’ll be taking the whole session to have some Christmas fun. Bring a friend or two with you, wear your ugly Christmas sweater and bring your favorite Christmas treat because there’s a big reason to celebrate this time of year. Parents, you’re invited to stay and join inside the warm confines of Cortona Hall.
Sessions start at 9:50AM and finish at 10:55AM. Registrations for EDGE and EPIC is always open, just come to the session or bring the registration form on http://smsjsacym.weebly.com/registrations.html
