From July 8th-13th, I had the privilege and blessing of participating in a wonderful week of experiencing God's love for us through Christian service. The pictures below are from our mission, which allowed several groups of teens from Immaculate Heart of Mary Youth Ministry, St. Gertrude Youth Ministry, and our ministry to go out into the city of Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky and serve God's people. Our group served a joyful crew of young children aged 6-13 at a day camp for low/middle income families. While we served most of the day the rest of the retreat was focused on building our faith with Mass, prayer, praise and worship, adoration, and testimonies on serving God with humility. The experience was unlike any other and impact on the city will never be known, at least to us, but I am confident those present experienced God's presence in one way, shape, or form.
